DISCOVERING OUR STORY TELEVISION PROGRAM AIRS SUNDAY, DECEMBER 5TH AT 1:00 PM.

Special guest for our December 4 Discovering Our Story Television Program is Patricia Gibson (Comanche/Creek/Seminole), Tribal Liaison for the City of Portland. In her position, Gibson serves as the first point of contact for city officials, bureaus and the tribal public. Prior to this, she served as tribal court judge and tribal attorney.

You can watch Wisdom’s monthly television program, Discovering Our Story Television Program when it airs live on Comcast Channel 11 on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 01:00 pm. It will then re-broadcast on Comcast Channel 22 on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 10:00 pm; and Comcast Channel 23 on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 09:00 am. We will also share the link to the television program at Wisdom’s website.

“Too often, the voice of the Native American is lost in misunderstanding,” Davis Gibson said in a press release from Mayor Charlie Hales earlier this year. “To be provided an opportunity to work with the city of Portland and the tribal public is inspiring to one who has dedicated her life to working in Indian Country.”
