Upcoming March Multimedia Internship Opportunity
In the spirit of growth and collaboration, Wisdom of the Elders, Inc. is excited to announce the upcoming March Multimedia Internship. We are on the lookout for creative individuals who can work both collaboratively and independently to contribute to our multimedia projects.
Since 1990, we have recorded the wisdom of 450 or more Native American elders, cultural leaders, and indigenous scientists. This wealth of knowledge has fueled our projects, including the Wisdom of the Elders Radio Program series, Climate, and Native Wisdom Documentary Series, Discovering Our Story TV Program, and a culturally tailored multimedia curriculum.
We produce documentaries in a cultural magazine format using film, video, photography, and text. These resources are shared freely through our website, e-newsletter, social media, and targeted outreach to Native community members, educational institutions, and the public.
The March Multimedia Internship provides a unique opportunity to contribute to our ongoing efforts, connect with indigenous wisdom, and be part of a meaningful initiative that resonates with communities nationwide.
As we celebrate the recognition from the REI Cooperative Action Fund and the generous support of REI, we look forward to welcoming new voices and talents to our team through the March Multimedia Internship. Together, we can continue to amplify the voices of Native American elders and share their invaluable wisdom with the world.
