We’re grateful to share highlights from our recent NIFSA coalition gathering at the Multnomah Arts Center. It was a full and energizing meeting with strong in-person turnout, meaningful virtual participation, and plenty of shared learning along the way. NIFSA practices a decolonized leadership model where all voices are equally valued. This is a space for the community to collectively reflect on where we’ve been, dream about what’s ahead, and rest together. Karrie Young, Wisdom of the Elders Community Liaison, looks forward to the upcoming Nettle Fest – a beloved gathering.
