Join Us: 8th Annual Medicine Gathering

The 8th Annual Medicine Gathering, hosted by the Pacific Northwest Council of Water Protectors, is returning to Oxbow Regional Park’s Eagle Camp from August 21–25, 2025. This gathering is a transformative opportunity for both Indigenous and ally communities to come together for reflection, healing, and the protection of our sacred waters Great Spirit PDXInstagram.

What to Expect:

  • A rich program featuring water ceremonies, storytelling, poetry, and music.

  • A family-friendly (but pet-free) environment steeped in spiritual harmony and community.

  • A drug- and alcohol-free space—please bring your own reusable utensils, plate, and bowl if you plan to eat onsite Great Spirit PDX.

A Gathering Rooted in Purpose:

The Medicine Gathering isn’t just an event—it’s a continuing tradition guided by Indigenous spiritual protocols and elders. It brings together Indigenous and non-Indigenous supporters to carry forward the fire ignited at Standing Rock, reinforcing the sovereignty of tribal nations and the sanctity of our waters Pnwcwp+1.
