About the Festival
Shady Pines Festival is produced by Shady Pines Radio, a community-powered station in Portland, Oregon. Now in its fourth year, the festival features over 40 live music performances, DJ sets, art installations, food trucks, workshops, games, and much more. With camping included and activities running from Thursday evening through Sunday night, it’s a full weekend of music, nature, and connection.
There will be three unique stages:
-
The Rainbow Stage for main performances and evening concerts
-
Bullfrog Stage near the pond for intimate sets and workshops
-
Club SPR for late-night DJ sets and dance parties
Why We’re Participating
As part of our ongoing mission, Wisdom of the Elders seeks to build bridges between communities by sharing Indigenous knowledge, storytelling, and cultural teachings. Events like Shady Pines allow us to reach new audiences in meaningful, face-to-face conversations. We’re looking forward to connecting with festival-goers who care about environmental justice, cultural resilience, and intergenerational learning.
