William Ward

William Ward serves as Recording Engineer on location for Wisdom of the Elders. He has worked at Oregon Public Broadcasting for twelve years in various capacities, including Director, Assistant Director, Audio Engineer, Camera Operator and Key Grip.

Ward’s honors include a regional Emmy for his contributions to sound and additional videography on Rose City Remembered, produced in 1997 by Oregon Public Broadcasting. He was named Best Assistant Director in 1994 by the Oregon Media Producers Association. His national credits include sound for Nova, “Great Wildlife Heist”; Front Line, “Monsters Among Us” and “Secrets of a Bomb Factory: Does TV Kill?”. Ward has also provided sound and video for OPB’s and HBO’s American Undercover, “Kids Who Kill.”
