Join Us for Indigenous Peoples' Day 2025

Join Us for Indigenous Peoples’ Day 2025 in Portland—food, pow wow, vendors, and community celebration.

At Wisdom of the Elders, we believe in the power of gathering, sharing stories, and celebrating the strength of our communities. This October, we’re honored to invite you to join us for a very special event: Indigenous Peoples’ Day 2025.

This day is more than just a date on the calendar—it’s a time to honor our histories, uplift our cultures, and connect across generations. Together, we’ll celebrate resilience, joy, and the traditions that carry us forward.

What to Expect

On Monday, October 13, 2025, from 4 PM – 8 PM, we’ll come together at Barbie’s Village (935 NE 33rd Ave, Portland, OR 97232) for an evening filled with community spirit. Here’s what we have planned:

  • A Shared Meal – because gathering around the table nourishes both body and soul.

  • Inspiring Voices – community members will share stories, songs, and words that remind us of our strength.

  • Children’s Pow Wow – a joyful celebration of youth and tradition.

  • Native-Owned Vendors – explore and support local makers and entrepreneurs who carry cultural traditions into the present.

All Are Welcome

Dinner will be provided, and everyone is welcome—elders, families, friends, and neighbors. Bring your loved ones, your good energy, and an open heart.
