Tickets are still available for Wisdom’s “An Evening with Wisdom of the Elders” on Friday evening, June 6 at Melody Ballroom in downtown SE Portland. This is our fifth annual cultural celebration and Carma Corcoran reminds us that there is a Coastal Get-Away that will be auctioned off at our event.

This fun-filled package features a 2 night stay at The Breakers, a premier Long Beach, Washington Resort. The package includes gift certificates to Long Beach establishments: The Cottage Bakery, a favorite of both locals and tourists and Lost Roo, a restaurant and bar a multi-faceted destination offering casual class and quality food, drink and service.

Drive across the historic Astoria-Megler Bridge, a continuous truss bridge that spans the mouth of the Columbia River between Astoria, Oregon and Point Ellice near Megler, Washington the longest continuous truss bridge in North America and visit Astoria, Oregon. While in Astoria make use of your passes to the nationally renowned Columbia River Maritime Museum where you can discover the stories of the legendary Columbia River Bar, one of the most dangerous passages in the world.

After your museum use your gift card and enjoy a meal and beverage at The Fort George Brewery & Public House which was the original settlement site of Astoria founded in March 1811 by Captain Jonathan Thorn.
