Northwest Indian Storytellers Association and Wisdom of the Elders, Inc. invite you to join us at the Tenth Annual Northwest Indian Storytelling Festival and Emerging Tribal Storytellers Workshop, October 15-18, 2015.

NOTE: The Emerging Tribal Storytellers Workshop is for Native Americans including those self-identified as Native. All Native people are welcome. You do not need to regard yourself as a storyteller to participate. The registration fee is $50 for adults and $30 for students plus the donation of a cultural item for our silent auction. Your registration covers three meals served over the weekend, the workshop culminating in Sunday’s Emerging Storytellers Matinee, and free entry to all storytelling events.

Festival events will be held at various locations and the workshop is at Portland Community College, Cascade Campus, Student Union Building, 705 N. Killingsworth St, Portland, OR 97217.

1:00-2:00: Open Mic for Emerging Storytellers and visiting Elder Storytellers

2:00-2:30: Break

2:30-4:00: Elder Storyteller Symposium with presentations and Workshop Feedback/Questions

4:00-5:00: Group Feedback session with written feedback form

5:00: Dinner
