Wisdom of the Elders invites you to Wisdom Gardens Harvest Celebration, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday Sep. 21. The “Wisdom of the Elderberry” syrup making demonstration was well received last year, and we hope to see both familiar and fresh faces this year. This event celebrates not only the healing properties of elderberry, from antioxidant to immune system booster, but also Wisdom’s commitment to Native American culture and tradition. Join us for an Open House and Wisdom Gardens tour at Wisdom’s Kelly Butte House, 3203 SE 109th Avenue, between SE Division and SE Powell just east of I-205 and Kelly Butte Natural Area.
On Saturday, September 14th, from 10 AM to 2 PM, learn how to construct a 10-foot by 10-foot hoop house frame at the Hoop House Raising Party. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
