Rose High Bear was interviewed last week by Selena Musuta at Public Media Corps Fellow. In the interview, Selena asks Rose why, after five years away from public radio production, she is returning to produce WISDOM’s fourth series.
In response, Rose reflected on the importance of the upcoming radio series to Native American and public radio listeners who live in a world that is facing unprecedented global climate change. She discusses relevant prophesy and then goes on to talk about her commitment to continue work she started in Beijing, China earlier this year, and the importance of re-connecting cultural ties between rural ethnic minorities of China and our Northwest and other Dine tribal communities.
