The first Harvest Celebration will include an open house, a tour of Wisdom Gardens, a talk with Wisdom’s co-founder Rose High Bear, and a vegetable giveaway on Saturday, 15 September between 10 AM to 2 PM. Beverages and snacks will be served.
The second Harvest Celebrations will also include an open house, tour of Wisdom Gardens, and a “Wisdom of the Elderberry Syrup” making demonstration,with a syrup giveaway on Saturday, 29 September from 10 AM to 2 PM. Beverages and snacks will be served.
These events are free to the public, but contributions for supplies will be accepted at the door. Wisdom Gardens is located at the offices of Wisdom of the Elders, Inc., 3203 SE 109th Avenue, between SE Division and SE Powell just east of I-205 and Kelly Butte Natural Area.
